Celtic, under the management of Brendan Rodgers, have some pretty amazing looking stats when it comes to playing Saturday football at Celtic Park. In a nutshell, Brendan Rodgers has never lost a game on a Saturday after 32 teams have tried and failed to beat the Irishman’s teams.
The Celts have introduced themselves into 2019 with some impressive free-flowing attacking football. They will be looking to keep that flow going today as they have a chance of opening up a three-point lead in the league table.
All the talk since the new year kicked off has focused mainly on Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah’s instant impact in the Hoops. Scott Sinclair also looks like the Scotty of old, the player has bagged himself 3 goals in the last two games. Weah will get his chance today to shine from the start. The young striker comes in for Burke to lead the Celtic line. Mikey Johnstone gets a start today at the expense of James Forrest. Scott Bain and Ajer also keep their place.
