Celtic get back to league duty today at Paradise after an admirable performance and decent result in France on Thursday night. The Bhoys welcome Kilmarnock to Celtic Park today with a 1pm kick-off.

This Kilmarnock team doesn’t look as strong as it did last season with the departed Steve Clark who took up the Scotland job. Nevertheless, they do like to raise their game against the champions. So far the Hoops have a 100% record in the SPFL, played five won five. Their attacking play has been exceptional, netting eighteen goals and only conceding three.

Celtic fans will be hoping for more of the same today as the champions continue their quest for nine titles in a row.

With the games coming thick and fast between now and Christmas the Celtic boss will have to start keeping his players fresh with squad rotation. He also has to keep certain players happy with some game time.

You might have thought that today’s game would be an oppurun3ity for Lennon to mix things up a bit but the manager has named a largely unchanged team and stuck with the players that are performing for him. Moritz Bauer gets a start today and Ntcham comes into the mix. The rest of the team picks itself.

Celtic do have a midweek cup game against Partick Thistle, maybe Lennon will use that game to start the likes of Bayo and bring Tom Rogic back into the fold.
