It is set to be an emotional day at Celtic Park as fans honour the late and great Billy McNeill. Celtic have added a nice touch to their team sheet today, presented in black with Cesar doing his thing in the Hoops.
Both Neil Lennon and Scott Brown took part in the clubs pre-match ceremonies to honour the Lisbon Lions captain. The Celtic manager and his current captain laid wreaths at the statue of Cesar on the Celtic Way.
As we reported earlier Timo Weah will miss today’s game with an under 20’s USA team calling out. Oliver Ntcham has got a lot of stick in his last two games and he finds himself replaced today by fan favourite Tom Rogic. Johnny Hayes also finds himself on the bench as Scott Sinclair gets a chance to prove to Neil Lennon that he is his man.
The rock solid pairing of Ajer and Simunovic holds at the back while Izaguirre fills in for the injured Kieran Tierney.
