Celtic fans are in need of a pick me up after that last ten days or so. The Bhoys last SPFL encounter ended in a 1-1 draw at Rugby Park.

Usually, the club would only need a few days to make amends but for reasons we don’t want to go back over players and fans have been made to wait for the chance to redeem themselves.

An empty Celtic Park for a European fixture will be a first but such are the times we now find ourselves in. The only good news over the last ten days was the signing of new striker Albian Ajeti. Fans will be eagerly waiting for their first glimpse of the new signing and will be hoping he can hit the ground running.

With the teams just announced, there is a very strong chance fans will get to see the new Bhoy in action as he makes the bench.

Frimpong has dropped to the bench to make way for Elhamed while Nir Bitton comes in for Ajer. Tom Rogic is also on the Celtic bench tonight.

Changes to this year’s qualifiers mean the Hoops have to take care of business tonight to progress to the next round. Will the two postponed SPFL games favour the champions tonight or will the competitive edge be a bit blunt?
