Celtic and Motherwell are about to meet for the third time in 6 days, the fixture is now a media circus, mainly down to the whinging of everyone at Fir Park.

Patrick Roberts (hamstring) & Moussa Dembele (Dead Leg) are Celtic’s main injury concerns. Nir Bitton is also struggling for full fitness.

Celtic have a Champions League showdown with Anderlecht during the week and that must of featured somewhere in Brendan Rodgers mind. Celtic are huge favorites to be playing European football after Xmas but Rodgers will want to leave the competition on a high.

Speaking about Tuesday’s game with Anderlecht Rodgers said:

“We have to look at it ahead of Tuesday, for sure. It’s important for us to get through in Europe but I’m also conscious that over the course of the season we’ve won all of our games away from home, apart from Wednesday when we drew in Motherwell, but have drawn three at home.”

Rodgers clearly has one eye on Tuesday with today’s team selection. His starting eleven sees the introduction of Ajer, Hayes, Ntcham & Edouard.

CELTIC (4-2-3-1) Gordon; Lustig, Ajer, Boyata, Tierney; Ntcham, Brown; Hayes, Rogic, Sinclair; Edouard
Subs: De Vries, Simunovic, Griffiths,  Armstrong, Forrest, McGregor, Kouassi
