Celtic are about to take on Motherwell for part one of a triple-header. Celtic are going to play Motherwell 3 times in six days. Once at Hampden, once at Fir Park and at Paradise next Saturday.

Today’s game has a trophy up for grabs, a trophy Brendan Rodgers is looking to retain and start his quest for a double treble.

We asked the question earlier this morning if Rodgers would change his formation and maybe go with two up front. But Rodgers is sticking to his tried and tested formula. To a man, Celtic have the better players in every position, no doubt a message he will be getting through to all the players before the whistle.

Celtic leave in Jozo and Boyata at the back while Lustig makes the start after a dead leg. It’s a very Scottish looking midfield with Brown, Armstrong, McGregor and James Forrest. Scott Sinclair is back in after missing the PSG game.

CELTIC (4-1-2-3) Gordon; Lustig, Simunovic, Boyata, Tierney; Brown; McGregor, Armstrong; Forrest, Dembele, Sinclair
Subs: De Vries, Roberts, Griffiths, Rogic, Ntcham, Sviatchenko, Ajer
