It has been a good start to 2019 for Celtic. It can become even better tonight as Rodgers Bhoys look to create a six-point gap in the league. Celtic’s game in hand has dragged on and allowed other teams to believe they are closer to the champions or that they had already wrestled the SPFL trophy from the 7-in-a-row Celts.
Celtic are unbeaten at Paradise in the SPFL and tonight they go for 12 wins from 12. But nobody is talking about that in the MSM. While there should be an avalanche of reports in the next 48 hours of Celtic signings/lack of signings it’s important that three more points are recorded tonight.
Celtic already won 6-0 at St Johnstone earlier in the season and with a tripleheader lined up over the next fortnight against Saints, Rodgers will be looking to inflict damage to morale tonight.
Rodgers has drafted Oliver Burke back in to lead the line for the Bhoys tonight. Weah has found all his joy coming off the bench, no doubt he’ll feature tonight. Jozo and Ajer will hold the line at the back with Lustig and Izzy protecting the wings.
