The Bhoys are back from international duty and are straight back to domestic action as they face St Johnstone at Hampden in the League Cup semi-final.

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is said to be relishing his first trip to Hampden Park while also bracing himself for a battle against St Johnstone.

The two sides meet at the national stadium for the chance to play either Rangers or Hibs, who will play out the other semi on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou said during the week that he expects St Johnstone to do everything in their power to hold on to the trophy – one of the two domestic cups they won last season but is hoping his side can continue the momentum that brought one draw and seven wins in their last eight matches in all competitions before the break.

Celtic will be without Giorgos Giakoumakis, Carl Starfelt and Tom Rogic. St Johnstone are likely to be without Glenn Middleton after the winger tweaked a hamstring playing for Scotland Under-21s in midweek. Striker Stevie May is also out after suffering a knee injury in training that will keep him sidelined until Christmas.

With the two teams just announced this is your Celtic semi-final team:

No major surprises with that team, a team more than capable of registering a few goals today with that attacking threat.

Today’s kick-off is at 5:15 and we will have all the goals and reactions as it happens.
