CELTIC will be heading away for their winter training camp again this year when the Scottish game shuts down in January.
The past three seasons it was Brendan Rodgers who chose to take the team to Dubai for some intense training sessions in the heat and next year according to Sunsport Neil Lennon will do the same.
The bhoys take some time out away from the eyes of the Scottish media, get some well earned rest and reboot themselves for the second half of the campaign.
It’s interesting to see Neil Lennon choosing to continue Brendan Rodgers’ tradition but no doubt it’s the right call.
Celtic will hopefully still be fighting in three competitions by January if they manage to get out of their Europa league group. Neil Lennon will have to negotiate past Lazio, Rennes and Cluj to book a place in the last 32 of the competition.
Many will remember last years Dubai trio when Timo Weah came into the club and Oli Burke, both on loan. While both never stuck around for long they gave the squad a lift st the time.
