CELTIC have a lot of choices at full-back these days – both on the left and right.
Frimpong, Elhamed and Bauer fight it out on the right while Bolingoli, Hayes and Taylor provide the competition at left-back.
There’s one left-back on the clubs books that is a relative unknown to the vast majority of Celtic fans but as of this week he’s back in Glasgow and ready to train with the club – we’re talking about Andrew Gutman.
The MLS defender was signed by Celtic last January but was immediately loaned back to the US where he took the step up from Collegiate football to professional. In a short space of time he’s gone from small club to playing for Cincinnati in the MLS. With the off season now in place in America, Gutman has flown back over to again link up with his Celtic team-mates much like he did in the summer.
On Tuesday night he confirmed he was back in Glasgow on his instagram.
The player will head back to America after his short spell with the club.
