Celtic fans will be desperate to see some sort of consistency today with the visit of Kilmarnock for a 3 pm SPFL clash.

Celtic managed a rare win on Thursday night but most of the positives fans focused on was a change in personnel. Neil Lennon had nothing to lose on Thursday night against Lille when he made several changes to his starting 11.

The new-look Hopps managed a 3-2 win but the real talking point after the result revolved around sticking with the same team for today. Fans want to see Soro & Turnbull maintain their starting place today. Conor Hazard did himself no harm for a shout between sticks for today’s clash. Klimala and Henderson also put a decent shift in.

The question now is, will the Celtic manager revert to his favorites or give Thursday nights conquerors a deserved start?

Ryan Christie returns from suspension today and himself, Scott Brown and Tom Rogic will have an anxious eyeball on today’s team sheet. Fans feel certain players have had their chance this season and have not performed and they liked the freshness and energy they witnessed on Thursday night.

The teams have just been announced and this is the Celtic team for today:

Klimala has lost out to Edouard but is on the bench with Griffiths. Celtic’s bench looks unbelievable with the likes of Rogic, Brown, and Christie not making a start. Taylor comes in for Laxalt who we suspect might have a slight problem.

Celtic have won six of their last seven league games against Kilmarnock, drawing the most recent meeting 1-1 at Rugby Park.
