CELTIC are back in action for the first time since their draw against their Glasgow rivals two weeks ago.

It’s been two draws in the last two games for interim boss John Kennedy who will be looking for a victory and a safe passage to the next round of the Scottish cup.

Celtic are trying to win the competition for the fifth consecutive season, it will be no small feat considering the turmoil we find ourselves in on the pitch.

We need to pull together and give this competition one big go before the end of the season and a lot of these players head their separate way.

With Eddie Howe’s appointment nearing completion, it’s up for this group and the players while will be this season to show what they can do.

The big question before tonight was would John Kennedy put his faith in the future and give a back seat to the players on a fast track out of Paradise, we have our answer!

Leigh Griffiths has come out of the cold and back into the starting XI! James Forrest is starting his first Hoops game since his injury seven months ago.

It’s a changed line up from the last two games and Edouard is on the bench.
