The celtic team is up and Neil Lennon is sticking with pretty much the same players he has over the last ten games.

The manager hinted some fringe players might get a run out in the dead rubber at the San Siro but that’s not the case – at least not from the starting XI.

There are some fringe bhoys who could come on late on but for now the Celtic manager is giving this group the chance for Europa League redemption even if it is too little too late.

We are already out of the competition and are playing for pride. If we can put a performance together it would give us a huge shot in the arm but it’s going to be an uphill struggle.

Playing the too side in Serie A when you’re in a massive slump isn’t conducive to good football.

We hope to see a reaction tonight but at the moment, Celtic fans are just praying the team doesn’t get hammered.

  1. I am surprised it was only 4. No side is strong at the moment. The goalie is a night mare. The most important task for last summer was keeping Forster. Not Eduoard big FF. It was obvious to anyone watching that the defense was built round him and he was important to the squad. But we penny-pinched and went for a cheaper option and the boy is rubbish. After the inevitable thumping at Ibrox whoever comes in needs to rebuild immediately. Brown, McGregor, Christie (how long is it since a cross of him reached a team-mate?), Ajer, Ajeti, Bitton, Duffy, Eduoard, Rogic, Ntcham, possibly others are all gone. A full team. Only good thing is it will be a blank slate. But we won’t win much for 4 or 5 years as it won’t be easy. To be in this state so soon is criminal. Hopefully the directors, Chairman and CEO walk as well.
