Celtic Colts take on Morton this afternoon in the SPFL Trust trophy.

The Competition is different from the lower league restrictions and Celtic have taken advantage of that fact by playing two bhoys who are around the first team scheme.

Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhogide are in the starting XI for Tommy McIntrye’s side.

Shaw is someone who could provide depth for the Celtic first team. If Cal Mac was injured then there would need to be provisions in place – especially when you consider James McCarthy’s fitness issues.

Shaw needs to use these games to show what he’s all about. He’s not an Ange Postecoglou signing and he needs to really push on to prove he can make the grade.

The game kicks off at 3pm this afternoon and we will let you know how the bhoys get on. This is going to be a very stern test for the bhoys.
