CELTIC Football Club has just announced in the last few minutes that midfielder Ismaila Soro has successfully completed a medical ahead of his proposed transfer to the club.

Celtic had already agreed on terms with his Israeli club, Bnei Yehuda, and also agreed on a four-and-a-half-year contract with the player.

It might be some time before Soro is available for selection as the move is still subject to an ongoing work permit and international clearance. This is Celtic’s second signing in this transfer window that will be lined up for first-team action.

Fans will be still hoping to see one or two more new faces brought back in before the window shuts in a couple of weeks. The Bhoys face off against Kilmarnock at Rugby tonight and it could be sometime before Soro is introduced to fans.

Neil Lennon has hinted that there may be still some players leaving the club to get some first-team football. So far. Sinclair, Hendry and Morgan have left in this window.
