CELTIC will take on Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon in Ange Postecoglou’s first game in charge of the Hoops.

It’s a new era for the club and everyone is out to impress. Given the players available to him at the moment, Ange is gone with a very young and inexperienced side.

However, the big story is Barkas is the man who starts in goals. Ajeti gets the nod upfront.

Two men who disappointed in their debut seasons now have a chance at redemption.

Soro gets put into the midfield, there’s no Scott Brown to keep him out of the side anymore and Liam Shaw starts against his old club.

It’s all about fitness at this point in time and Ange will be looking at what he’s got. Expect wholesale changes throughout the game with nearly the whole squad getting a run out.

The Scottish international bhoys will likely not see any game time because there a week or two behind everyone else in terms of training.

The match will be played in THREE thirty minute periods with two starting XI’s being utilised.

Here is the second starting XI:

SECOND CELTIC XI- Bain; O’Connor, Murray, Hjelde, McPherson, Connell, Otoo, Robertson, Afolabi, Coffey, Edouard.

No Griffiths in either side, but that might be because he is behind in his training due to contract negotiations holding up his return to the training ground.

A new era starts now. Here we go!
