Celtic are making a point of signing up some of their young talent to professional deals lately.

The latest player to sign on the dotted line is defender Josh Dede. The player has already featured for Tommy McIntyre’s B side and has been capped at youth level for Scotland

The news comes not long after Daniel Kelly committed his future to the club. Josh is obviously delighted and now the right back can push on knowing he’s signed up to a pro deal.

Celtic have been pushing to get these deals done after losing out to Liverpool for Ben Doak. Ben is expected to sign a deal with the Anfield club shortly and leave his boyhood heroes.

Hopefully Celtic B continue to have competitive fixtures next season so Josh and others can begin to flourish.

The Scottish Lowland league will take a vote next week to determine if the B side will be invited back next season.
