Since joining Celtic’s Academy from Cliftonville back on July 2, 2014, Conor went on to consistently impress for the Development Squad making his top-team bow in the summer of 2017 in a win over Linz, the opening game of the Hoops pre-season tour in Austria.
During the 2020/21 campaign, he has moved up the pecking order and, along with Vasilas Barkas and Scott Bain, the young Irishman vied for the goalkeeper’s spot, making seven first-team appearances over the course of the term.
‘I’ve had great help from Colin Meldrum and Stevie Woods who have really developed me over the years.’

Following the 3-3 stalemate with Hearts, the youngster saved two spot-kicks in the shoot-out as the Hoops won their 40th Scottish Cup and 12th successive trophy.
‘I wouldn’t have been able to do it without all the coaches I have worked with. I have had great help from Colin Meldrum and Stevie Woods who have really developed me over the years and hopefully there is more to come.’
In the past few years Conor has also enjoyed successful loan spells at Falkirk, Partick Thistle and Dundee.
