Despite Scottish reports suggesting that Souza was on his way to PSV, a Dutch Journalist has declared that no decision has been made by the player.
A decision from the Brazilian’s camp is expected soon and could be revealed this week, but he’s not made one yet.
It’s great news for Celtic who is desperate to add a holding midfielder to their squad. It’s a position Celtic struggled to fill last season, despite Callum McGregor’s best efforts.

The Journalist has gone as far as reporting Souza will not play for PSV next season, completely rubbishing the Scottish Express’ Story.
Celtic’s Transfer Saga
On Tuesday night, Sky Sports’ Anthony Joesph reported that Real Betis and Espanyol had submitted loan bids for the player and were awaiting a response.
On Wednesday morning, the Daily Record reported that Celtic was locked in talks but was growing impatient. If an answer wasn’t close the club was prepared to pull out of negotiations.
Then, later on Wednesday, The Scottish Daily Express reported that PSV were set to secure the player. However, this has been rubbished.
It’s all turning into a typical Celtic transfer saga, with fans growing tired of the contradicting reports and desperate for a final decision to be made.
