Frank McAvennie has said be expects Neil Lennon to want one more coach on board and it could be a familiar name that is returning.

Speaking to Football Insider, the former Celtic and West Ham forward said he think Lenny will make a move for his ‘right hand man’ at Celtic, Bolton and Hibernian, Garry Parker

“I still think Lenny needs to get somebody else in, maybe not a coach but he needs somebody to talk to.

Brendan had the boy Davies and that was his man. Lenny is comfortable working with John but Garry Parker was his man but by all accounts they got on too well!

Garry is a great lad and he can go into a dressing room and put his arm around players.”

With the departure of Damien Duff and the fast arrival of Gavin Strachan I don’t think many will see this move actually happening as Lennon already has a number of people on the back room staff.

It is also a move that the Celtic board has rumoured to not being interested in moving for Parker again, in the past

That being said, Parker has always been a familiar name and someone who Lennon has turned to where ever he has had a job and it wouldn’t be a great surprise if he was tempted too again
