CELTIC will have a big summer in terms of personnel change, from a new full time manager coming in to vital areas of the pitch being strengthened.
While there needs to be players coming through the door, there will also be casualties and current stars who leave the club this summer.
With that being said, one of Celtic’s most valuable assets is Olivier Ntcham who was subject to heavy interest from Porto back during the last summer window. The interest was so heavy the Frenchman was given a new contract by the club having only signed with Celtic the season prior.
Since then the midfielder has had mixed fortunes with the club. There’s no doubt on his day Olivier Ntcham’s technical ability is second to none but when it’s not his day, bhoy do we all know it!
If Celtic were looking to fund other players coming in and the new manager wasn’t completely sold Ntcham was going to be his first choice central midfielder then the money being talked about could be too hard to turn down.
Ntcham admitted talking to Celtic after the window had closed about the interest and he said he was content at the time. Would the Frenchman be tempted this time around and if so, could Celtic land the reported £14m that was on the table.
