This weekend, Celtic return to Scottish Premiership action after a two-week international break, facing Ross County.

Many Celts travelled the globe with their international sides, including frontman Kyogo Furuhashi.

Some fans were left concerned though when the 26-year old was forced off due to injury in Japan’s final game of the international break against China.

We are yet to receive an update on that injury, which will likely come at some point tomorrow in Ange Postecoglou’s pre-match press conference.

Even without the injury, I don’t think it was a guarantee that Furuhashi would be starting come Saturday due to the amount of travelling in the short space of time in the past week or so.

This opens up the opportunity for another striker to come in and stake a claim, with the most likely being new summer deadline day recruit Georgios Giakoumakis.

However, could the matchday programme cover be hinting at a possible surprise starter on Saturday?

Last years recruit Albian Ajeti is the face of the programme, and that has led to some speculating whether he could be set for a chance in Postecoglou’s starting line-up.

Before the international break, the Swiss striker slowly looked to be coming into the frame as a substitute against St Mirren, playing a key part in the final goal of the 6-0 victory.

We will have to wait and see whether Ajeti is the man to lead the line this weekend. If he does, it could be a sign that he is putting in the work behind the scenes on the training ground.
