JOSIP JURANOVIC was part of the Croatia team who managed to take a point from France on Monday evening, the Celtic right-back playing the full game.

Josip joined up with his national side after a successful domestic campaign with Celtic where he helped the bhoys to a double in his debut season.

Croatia had no points on the board until this evening and weren’t expected to get anything from the French national side.

Adrien Rabiot put France ahead on the 52nd minute and were looking good for the win when Croatia landed a penalty in the final 10 minutes. VAR awarding the spot kick and Andrej Kramaric despatched the ball into the back of the net to draw level on the night.

Josip got a FotMob rating of 7.0; the Celtic star having a passing accuracy of 77%, made 10 recoveries, and 4 clearances.

The defender will be due back at Celtic at the end of this month to help Ange Postecoglou and his teammates retain their newly won title.

Josip has been a great signing for the Hoops, and you get the feeling 26-year-old is just getting started. Well done on the player helping towards a top result for his country.
