Celtic’s Starting XI

Brendan Rodgers’ first team are gearing up for their own European test against Bayern Munich, but this afternoon, it’s the turn of Celtic’s youth side to take on RB Salzburg. The starting XI for today’s game is as follows:

Marcus Gill, Colby Donovan, Mitchell Robertson (C), Hayden Borland, Mitchel Frame, Kyle Ure, Jude Bonnar, Francis Turley, Tom Pickford, Rhys Dargie, Daniel Cummings.

Cummings in the side after missing out on a deadline day move to West Ham. While a pre-contract has not been confirmed by The Hammers or the player’s representatives, it’s thought Daniel will move away from Celtic Park in the summer.

Celtic’s academy has produced promising young talent, and a strong performance in the knockouts of the UEFA Youth League will be another step forward in their development. With Salzburg known for their aggressive, high-pressing style, this will be a real test for the young Hoops.

Celtic fans who tune in will get a glimpse of potential first-team stars of the future as the club looks to make its mark in European youth football. Kick-off is at 1pm – don’t miss it!
