It’s not just a fourth historic treble on the line for Celtic on Sunday, their form, their momentum and what they’re going to be going forward is under the microscope.

We have seen the first wound be inflicted on our title rivals and there’s a renewed optimism if we can exert pressure then anything is possible.

However, a loss on Sunday and you won’t be able to move the dark clouds from Celtic Park which would take up permanent residence.

It’s vital the bhoys send out a statement and make sure they make their own piece of history. It’s easier said than done, as we saw with St Mirren and Ross County in the League Cup, a one-off tie can be lost and silverware slips away.

Celtic are not in the best of places when it comes to their starting XI, we don’t even know who’s going to be in goals for us come Sunday afternoon.

Neil Lennon will have the biggest say on the day; Ismaila Soro or Scott Brown, Hazard or Bain? Mikey Johnston inclusion?

It’s going to be a very interesting weekend but hopefully, it ends with a trophy triumph.
