Celtic are set to find out today if their player will face a ban for grabbing Alfredo Morelos during the Glasgow Derby game at the end of last year.

Ryan Christie has been cited by the SFA for the incident and incredibly is the only player to be retrospectively cited for any potential wrong doing on the day.

Celtic were adamant they would fight their players corner. A stance they should take considering the thing he’s being cited for is something Alfredo Morelos got away with during one of the previous Glasgow Derby games.

See pic below.

Ryan has to answer to the SFA during the fast track hearing and the outcome could see the player banned for two games when the football returns later in January.

The SFA are clueless and do themselves no favours by intermittently applying the laws of the game when they feel like it.

Celtic will feel aggrieved if their player is banned considering the behaviour of some of the opposition on the field on December 29.
