Daizen Maeda has thanked his teammates and coaching staff after sweeping the board at Celtic’s Player of the Year awards and issued a rallying cry to fans as the Hoops aim to finish the season with another Treble – his second as a Celtic player.

The Japanese forward was named Men’s Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, and took home the Top Goalscorer award during Sunday’s ceremony in Glasgow. The recognition comes after a season of relentless work rate, key goals, and big-game performances, even as he’s battled through injuries and long-haul international duties.
Reacting to the clean sweep, Maeda said: “I am very honored to receive these awards! I would like to thank the manager, the coaching staff, and above all, my teammates. There is not much time left in this season, so let’s win a cup final and end the season with a treble, together with all of you Celtic fans!”

It’s been another tireless campaign from the 27-year-old, whose selfless running and tactical discipline have made him a cornerstone of Brendan Rodgers’ side. Despite missing a chunk of the season through injury and international commitments, Maeda has led from the front.
Celtic will go into the Hampden showpiece as firm favourites, with the opportunity to claim their sixth domestic Treble in nine years. And if Maeda’s form and mindset are anything to go by, he’ll be front and centre in that pursuit of silverware once again.
Maeda netted a hat trick against the Dons in the semi-final of the League Cup earlier this season
Not since Henrik himself has there been a more worthy winner!
He was brilliant under Ange, but Rodgers brought his game to a whole new level!
HAIL HAIL Daizen Maeda.
Whatever next season brings, you will forever be a legend in our club, a hero in Paradise!
YNWA.
What a player this bhoy has turned out to be. Under Ange he was good but under Brendan he is amazing
He thoroughly deserved the 3 awards. Looking forward to the cup final and what he will bring to the club next season Hail Hail Maeda
