DANIEL ARZANI has confirmed he’s back at his parent club this week as the midfielder continues his recovery from a torn ACL.

The youngster only managed 15 minutes of football for Celtic against Dundee before going down with the unfortunate injury in 2018. Since then, the Australian has spent a lot of time in Barcelona rehabbing his injury and lately, he has been back out on the Lennoxtown training ground.

Daniel is contracted to Celtic for another year with the player signing up to a two-year loan deal back last summer. However, he is back at his parent club presumably to be assessed by Manchester City ahead of a potential return to action this summer.

Arzani posted this picture on his Instagram.

There’s no indication the Socceroo is looking to cut his loan deal short at this point and he’s spent very little time at his parent club since signing for them last summer.

Celtic don’t have an option to buy at the end of Daniel’s deal and he will have a season to make the breakthrough and hopefully prove himself.
