DANIEL ARZANI has been undergoing rehabilitation for his ACL injury over the past couple of months with the player living in Barcelona for a large chunk of it. During the Christmas holiday, the young Celtic starlet got to head home to Australia and spend some time with his family and friends.
It now appears Arzani will continue the next stage of his rehab in Glasgow. The Socceroos star met up with the Celtic team in Dubai yesterday before flying back to Glasgow with the rest of the squad.
Arzani finally made his debut against Dundee and looked lively before disaster struck.
With the 19-year-old’s foot planted in the ground, he turned and immediately fell to the floor. The midfielder was then stretchered off in a massive amount of pain.
Speaking after it on social media, Arzani admitted his season was over.
“Unfortunately I will need an ACL op, ruling me out till next season,” Arzani tweeted.
“This is a tough time for me but also a chance to improve and come out of this better than ever.”
Arzani posted on Instagram this morning he was back in town, and it must be quite the shock after spending time in Spain and Australia!
