CELTIC FANS finally got their first proper glimpse of Daniel Arzani on Wednesday night against Dundee.

The Australian made his Celtic debut with the bhoys already winning 5-0 on the night.

However, it was just a glimpse, with only 22 minutes into his debut the player had to be stretchered off after ‘going over on his knee’ as Brendan Rodgers put it.

The midfielder could not put any weight on his leg and had to be carried off the field of play.

Arzani was given a standing ovation from the Celtic support and he clapped the fans as he was taken off the pitch.

While he was on the field, the World Cup youngster looked lively and could have got an assist had Kieran Tierney buried the chance Arzani served up for him.

Taking to Instagram last night, the midfielder first sent out a video of himself with crutches and his leg strapped looking to get up the stairs.

The 19-year-old’s second post sent a message to the Celtic fans who have been wishing him well since he went off injured.

And promised to keep everyone posted on his progress.
