Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers remains on the hunt for outfield reinforcements as he prepares his side for their Scottish Premiership opener against Kilmarnock this weekend.
The Hoops boss has several positions he’d like to strengthen over the coming weeks, centre-half being one.

Gustaf Lagerbielke has interest from Italy, while Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh are not entirely reliable fitness-wise.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is dependable, but some fans have doubts over Liam Scales as a first-choice pick.
The Irishman did a job last term, but many would like to see Carter-Vickers’ central defensive partner upgraded, and given some links in the market so far, so do Celtic and Rodgers.
Salernitana defender Flavius Daniliuc, who was on loan at RB Salzburg last season, has previously been linked alongside Burnley man Dara O’Shea.
The Irishman is said to be a target for the Bhoys this summer, but the latest update from Football Scotland suggests that a deal could be difficult for Celtic to do.
Indeed, there is ‘serious interest’ in O’Shea from clubs in the English Premier League and Italy’s Serie A. Naturally, it is arduous for the Premiership champions to compete against such sides, but time will tell whether a deal can be done.
Can’t see that position within the squad getting resolved until late into this window imo?
Hardly a priority for ourselves at this stage, but will possibly need to be addressed before the window shuts and our CL squad is finalised imo?
Hopefully we don’t enter this panic mode like last season, and ending up with another Phillips type player within our squad imo?
