A date has reportedly been set for Celtic’s friendly against French Champions Paris-Saint German.

According to Inside Futbol, the date is set for the 21st of July as the French giants look to prepare for their double cup final, with the Coupe de France against Saint-Etienne on the 24th July and the Coupe de la Ligue final in which they will play against Lyon on the 31st July

Reports have suggested they will also face French side Le Havre on 12th July and Irish side Shamrock Rovers just five days later, on the 17th.

A game against a team like PSG is likely something Neil Lennon and his side are relishing as they will finally return to action after such a long absence, due to both the Scottish and the French leagues were cut short early due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The club will also be looking to organise more similar games, for pre-season and have even been linked with PSG’s Coupe de la Ligue opponents, Lyon.
