David Turnbull has tested positive for Covid and will now isolate for ten days.
The news broke earlier this afternoon 11 members of the Scotland under 21 squad had to isolate after three positive tests had emerged.
It’s now been confirmed the Celtic star was one of the positive cases.
Celtic have confirmed that David Turnbull was one of the three Scotland U21 players who tested positive for #COVID19.
He is obviously not in the squad for today’s match against Hibs and will be isolating for 10 days.

This could have further implications for Celtic if the player has been around his Celtic teammates since their return from international duty, our write Lewis Laird pointing out the midfielder was pictured in training yesterday.

We will have to wait and see, as well as hold our breath in the hope that nobody else develops symptoms.
As always, we would like to make clear how bad this virus can be and the player’s health is at the forefront of our mind. We wish David a speedy recovery from the virus and hope to see him back in training when he’s ready.
