Leigh Griffiths has liked a tweet which has supported either himself or Bayo laving the club in January after the announcement of Patryk Klimala.
The club announced they had signed the Polish striker on a four and a half year deal – much to the delight of the support. This leaves Celtic with four strikers that can only accommodate one in the starting XI.
A harmless post suggesting one of the players would have to make way was made and it hadn’t even tagged Griffiths in it. However, the striker has liked the comment on social media without commenting on it directly.
Leigh has been on a long road back to a place where he can be considered for first team football. Spends so much time away from the game and now sitting on the bench isn’t doing him any favours.
If Leigh is going to be used sparingly over the next six months then a loan deal to get him back up to speed without the pressure and limelight at Celtic Park seems like a no brainier.
