Cameron Carter-Vickers isn’t ruling out a permanent move to Celtic at the end of the season.

The defender has been brilliant since coming in, and while Jota has got the plaudits and much of the attention as far as our two loan signings come – Cameron has been just as pivotal to Celtic’s steady progress.

The Spurs defender came in at the last minute of the transfer window.

Celtic tried to sign the USA international several times during the summer. CeltsAreHere were told by a reliable club source that Spurs knocked back a loan deal in the morning of deadline day before coming back to Celtic just before the deadline.

The loan deal has proved a great move for all parties and like all successful loan signings we want to know if Cameron has the potential to stick around.

Here’s what the defender told CelticTV today:

“It’s something I’m open to, but I haven’t given it much thought at this stage.”

Celtic do have an option to buy, we’ll have to wait and see if the Hoops trigger it come the summer.

Right now, we need all players to be focused at the task in hand. There’s a crazy run of games before the winter shutdown and the bhoys need to make sure they’re in the conversation come January.
