NEIL LENNON must be getting fed up with the big question of the week; whether or not his captain will start in the cup final against Hearts on Sunday.
Celtic haven’t had a midweek game for the first time since much earlier this season, so there’s been a longer opportunity to discuss the hot topics of the day. The manager did set things off when he spoke straight after the Kilmarnock win and said he would look to bring some of the older bhoys back to allow them the opportunity to win their twelfth consecutive trophy.
Speaking on Friday, ahead of Sunday’s game, Neil Lennon was giving nothing away and would not say either way whether Scott Brown will start the game in place of Ismaila Soro.
Two wins in two for Soro has left Celtic fans wanting to see more of the player but the pull of putting back such an important figure into the team, like Brown could be overwhelming for the Celtic manager.
We await his decision, we’ll know two hours before kick-off on Sunday.
Will Scott Brown start Celtic’s Scottish Cup final v Hearts?
N Lennon: “It’s not like this is going to be Scott’s swan song if he plays…there’s a long of talk about whether I’ll start him or not…that’ll be my decision & I’ll make the right decision for the club & the team” pic.twitter.com/YUf2OK1KIZ
