BRENDAN RODGERS is preparing his side to face Rosenborg for the third time this season in the Europa League.

The Celtic manager admitted to having Celtic staff in attendance at Rosenborg’s game at the weekend watching Celtic’s Euro foes taking on Ronny Deila’s Valarenga.

Rosenborg ran out 3-2 winners against the old Celtic gaffer’s side in a hard-fought battle.

Rodgers has been doing his homework, and while he feels prepared for the challenge ahead, the Celtic boss made the revelation that he might call on his predecessor for some extra information.

“I watched Ronny Deila’s side play Rosenborg at the weekend there” the manager told the Celtic View.

“It’s always nice to know that I can call Ronny if I need anything”

“We always do our work, we’re always diligent and we get our staff there to see games but if we think we need anything more, Ronny’s at the other end of the phone”

Ronny spent two season’s at Celtic and will hopefully go down in history as the man who secured two league trophies in Celtic’s run to ten in a row.

Brendan Rodgers wants to leave no stone unturned as he looks to guide Celtic out of a tough Europa group.

It all starts this Thursday, and a win against the Norweigan’s will go a long way.
