‘Deluded’, ‘Great concerns’ – Many Celtic Fans Express Major Parkhead Fear

Celtic have reportedly opened talks with Roy Keane over the vacant manager’s position.

It all seems a little 2014 for our liking but Football Insider has made the claim after Nicky Butt suddenly stepped down from his role at Old Trafford.

It sent the rumour mill into overdrive and I think FI are throwing darts at a board blindfolded when it comes to their ‘exclusives’.

Simply put, if Roy Keane was in talks to take the Celtic job you can bet the Irishman and the club would not be saying a word about it – especially to Football Insider.

The rumours and chat have been raging online about the merits of a Roy Keane appointment but when you look for it, you see more negative than positive supporters.

If anyone seriously considers Roy Keane a better candidate for the Celtic job than Enzo Maresca then I've great concerns for you.

Dermot Desmond has always had a soft spot for the Irishman and it’s an itch he’s wanted to scratch for some time.

Keane has openly talked about getting into full time management again but who knows what’s next here.

The club aren’t giving anything away.
