CELTIC will take on The Rangers at Hampden in December as the Glasgow sides do battle for the first trophy of the season. However, before then the developmental side have the small matter of a Scottish FA Youth Cup tie at Broadwood against their Glasgow rivals.

This gives the players of the future a taste of derby action and with Celtic’s overhaul of the side this summer it gives some of the new bhoys the chance to impress.

One bhoy who will likely start the game is Karamoko Dembele. The young lad has played 45 minutes for the first team but an injury this summer curtailed his progress. Back fit and raring to go, it will give the 16-year-old the perfect opportunity to get some game time and show Neil Lennon he can be a good hand in the first team if called upon.

The game takes place on Sunday at 2pm and there’s no general sale for tickets to the game.

Hopefully the developmental Celts can get a win under their belts and set it up nicely for the first team in December.
