CELTIC’S developmental side will take ok Kilmarnock this afternoon at Rugby Park and there’s a very good chance Karamoko Dembele could be in the mix with the player now cleared to play in the Reserve league.

Karamoko turned 16 on Friday night which now permits him to play for the first team and the developmental side going forward.

While this would be considered his professional debut should he be fielded at Rugby Park this afternoon, the player did get some game time with the developmental squad in a cup game with no such age restriction prohibiting the young star from being selected.

Nonetheless, this would be Karamoko’s first outing with his new contract underway.

There was hope the attacking midfielder would get into the matchday squad against Motherwell on Sunday but Dembele is just back from international duty with England and the game came too soon for him to be considered.

We’re likely to see Dembele in a run of games for the reserves now and if he performs, as we have seen with Ewan Henderson, he will get his chance to shine in the first team before the end of the season.

If you want the opportunity to see the whole squad in action including Bayo, Oko-Flex and maybe even Marvin Compper you can head to Rugby Park this afternoon for the 2pm kick off – Entry is £5 at the gate.
