CELTIC and Moussa Dembele have missed out on the prestigious Puskas award after FIFA revealed the three finalists this afternoon.
The goal against St Johnstone was nominated after every single player got a touch of the ball before a Rabona flick by Lustig and a cool finish my Dembele. However, it didn’t make the final cut with Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud sensational strike, Baroka goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke and Venezuela women’s’ footballer Deyna Castellanos got the nod.
Voting has now re-opened for fans to vote for their favourite from the three.
While Celtic miss out on the award, it makes the goal scored no less sensational and it epitomises the brand of football the club play under Brendan Rodgers.
