Celtic fans want the impossible when it comes to their players. They want their star players putting in star performances but they don’t want anyone outside of the club to take notice for fear of the player been sold on. Edouard is probably the best example of this at the moment. He is scoring important goals for Celtic and France with ease.

His brace for the French U21’s during the week has to lead to all kinds of headlines for the Celtic hitman as he gets linked with any European club who can afford to spend 25+ million on a 21-year-old. Chris Sutton only this morning stuck a 50 million pound price tag on the strikers head as he pleaded with the club not to sell him at any cost in January. The latest Celtic player to have the money clubs circling is Karamoko Dembele with a bidding war rumoured to be forthcoming.

Karamoko just made the respected French mag L’equipe wonder kid list in France. Although it was no secret that Dembele has long been dubbed as a wonderkid, it is now that clubs are been reported to want to prise away Celtic’s talent.

Celtic fans might have expected to see more of the tricky winger this season after he made his debut at 16 years of age at the end of last season. Some people said it was too soon and that he was too young and physically not ready for the step up, but he wasn’t long about proving them wrong.

The start of this season has been hampered by injuries but the youngster will be looking to push himself back into Niel Lennon’s first-team plans with a multitude of games coming after the international break.
