MOUSSA DEMBELE is an outstanding talent who has the football world at his feet.

Since joining Celtic the player has attracted so much attention from many different clubs and football personalities who have applauded Celtic for managing to snag him from England.

However, the player is still very grounded. As he returns to Paris tonight, where he started his youth career he still admits praise about his ability can ‘shock’ him, especially when it’s from a football idol.

When France Legend and now Real Madrid boss spoke highly of him last year, the striker couldn’t believe it.

Zidane said: “I have played with the greatest strikers – Ronaldo, Henry, Raul. You knew on the biggest occasions they would win you games – and Dembele is already showing that.

Dembele admitted it spurred him on.

“I was pleased but at first I was shocked to hear that. The fact my work is not something that goes unnoticed, and the fact that a legend like Zidane speaks like that of me, my football ability and especially my future, gives an incentive to wake up in the morning and do a better job than others, and get where I want to be.” the striker admitted.

Celtic take on PSG on Wednesday night in what will be a very tough tie for the Scottish Champions. Having already been beaten at Celtic Park comprehensively, the bhoys will want to make a better account of themselves.

    • No we shouldn’t. The team can’t learn how to make Brendan’s gameplan work against the top teams if they don’t try. If we’re going to get beat we might as well do it whilst trying to win. Damage limitation is the way of the anti-footballing hun.
