CHRIS DAVIES has revealed Dedryk Boyata will play no part in Celtic’s League Cup tie with Thistle after he refused to play in Athens on Tuesday.
Furthermore, the player will not be part of the travelling squad and will be demoted to training with the under 20s.
Boyata has been working his ticket out of Celtic since he got back from the World Cup.
When Boyata challenged reports he had refused to play in Athens, the Celtic manager took exception to the comments and made it clear Boyata was fit but unwilling to play.
There seems to be no going back for either party now.

These situations are no good for anyone and tend bring more disharmony. The sooner a transfer can be concluded the better for all.
