LEIGH GRIFFITHS could be on course to start or play some part in next months Scottish Cup Glasgow Derby according to reports.

The striker has had an unfortunate run of injuries that has seen him come in and out the team this season, unable to get in full flow.

Speaking a few weeks back Brendan Rodgers wasn’t sure when the player would be available to play but reports suggest Leigh’s battle back to full fitness is imminent.

This would be a major boost for Celtic as they go in chase of a consecutive treble and look to wrap up the league.

Leigh’s Celtic record speaks for itself and the sooner he’s back vying for a place in the team the better.

It does help Celtic that Leigh is coming back and Dembele is starting to find for. The Frenchman who netted at Ibrox earlier this month scored a cracker for his national side on Friday as they look to qualify for the Euro’s.
