Dermot Desmond has been spotted on the golf course hanging around with Rory McIlroy in Berwick this morning as Celtic gear up to begin their pre-season.
The majority shareholder has not said a peep since he took part in a contrived question and answer session for the Celtic website before the Eddie Howe deal fell apart. Dermot was a major player in that failed deal and met with Eddie Howe, offering him the job. [SunSport]
There has been no mention of Celtic from the Irishman since Ange Postecoglou took over at the club.

Dom McKay is the man in charge now. Dermot has always been hands off apart from choosing the manager.
Due to Dermot and co dithering over Eddie Howe and allowing him the lead Celtic down the garden path – the club are not very far down the line in this rebuild.
We’ve signed two young players while the problem, wantaway players from last season are still at the club.
While Dermot enjoys the golf, us supporters will be tuning into Celtic vs Sheffield Wednesday at 3pm hoping to see signs of a revival.
