Celtic Park will host a historic European night next month, the details for which have now been confirmed.
The Hoops’ Women’s side completed a Scottish football first last week when they qualified for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Elena Sadiku’s side emerged victorious from a two-legged tie against FC Vorskla Poltava, coming away deserved 3-0 aggregate winners.
The Celts resultantly booked their place in the group stage of European football’s most prestigious club competition, where they were drawn into group B alongside Real Madrid, Chelsea, and FC Twente.
Sadiku’s team recently switched their home venue to Hamilton’s New Douglas Park, but one of their historic Champions League fixtures this year will be played at Celtic Park.
Indeed, the Ghirls will look to create a memorable European night at Paradise when they take on Chelsea on Wednesday, November 13th. The match will kick off at 8pm under the lights:

Their group stage campaign begins next Tuesday against Twente, but Celtic have the small matter of a Glasgow derby to contend with before then.
Sadiku takes her side to Broadwood this Thursday evening to face Rangers in a hotly anticipated clash.
The SWPL champions haven’t beaten their city rivals since March, when a Natahsa Flint double proved the difference between the sides. Revenge will be in the air in Cumbernauld later this week.
