Many have jokingly put it out there on social media that Celtic were the team that broke Manchester City this season after the enthralling 3-3 draw at Celtic Park earlier this season.
Before that game Pep Guardiola’s men were on a winning streak that seen them hit the summit of the Premier League. Since that night their form has been far from impressive. Directly after the game with Celtic they were torn apart by Spurs and have never really recovered that early season form BC (Before Celtic).
Man City now sit in 5th place in the premier league a whopping ten points off Chelsea and Pep admitted their title chances have gone.
Asked about his change in style since the start of the season Pep Celtic as a reason why he changed his setup.

No, there is more to it than that. they hardly expected to go unbeaten , or in the case of the draw in Glasgow, to keep winning all season. That cant happen at that level. So while Celtic Park may have caused Rep to reexamin his team or tactics, simply imo, City for all the quality and talent they have, lack mental fortitiude and resolve, Pep looks like he’d rather be elsewhere and the entire experiment looks a little shaky just now, I still fancy them for a top 4 spot, but thats as good as it will get for them this season
