Neil Lennon spoke about this as he watched his Celtic players head out on international duty and now it looks like the Irishman had cause for concern after watching Mikael Lustig limp off on Saturday evening for his country.

The right back who looked almost certain to start the Glasgow Derby on Sunday ahead of Dortmund’s Jeremy Toljan is now a massive doubt for the top of the table clash after being forced off in the 24th minute.

Mikael was replaced by Emil Krafth as the double treble winner looked in severe discomfort.

We will find out in the next day or two how bad the injury is and if the Swede will be able to participate in the game next Sunday.

Celtic could go a massive thirteen points clear of second place with a win against Steven Gerrard’s men. There was debate over who should start the game with Toljan not having the best run of games in the hoops as of late.

This is always the case with internationals and Neil Lennon will be keeping his fingers crossed no other players pull up in the next day or two before returning to the club.

We found out earlier today Dedryck Boyata has left the Belgium Camp for personal reasons and there’s no word on whether that will effect his participation in the Derby yet.
