Celtic look to step up their rebuild THIS WEEK with Dominic Mckay leaving his role at the SRU early to take up his position as Celtic’s nee chief executive.

McKay was pencilled in to begin his role at the start of July but his exit from his current role looks to have been expedited so McKay can get to work immediately.

RecordSport are claiming Celtic are preparing a stock exchange statement for Tuesday after the Easter weekend.

This news is exciting, especially when you add in the Eddie Howe speculation.

If McKay is confirmed on Tuesday it could be a matter of time before a new manager is named.

Celtic are going through a massive transition and it was never going be able to happen as well as it could unless McKay came in early or worked two jobs at once.

The new Chief exec has already met with Dermot Desmond as well as Eddie Howe for talks in London.

Exciting times.
